Auxey Duresses "les Hautés" 2009
With its 8.2 ha, the locality is the largest of the appellation. Delimited in the extension of Meursaultit is climbing the hill and takes its name from its relatively high position. It is often mentioned Chardonnay: this is the case here, with a 2009 developed by a winemaker of Saint-Romain. The discreet nose Book fragrances finesse of flowers and white fruit characteristics of the grapes. We find this wine flexibility, but also a nice acidity, sharpness: what is called balance. A rather fat side reflects the vintage. Serve this winter or next year.
